Cheshire Business Technology Ltd. have delivered another vTiger based solution, this time adding SMS sending facilities.

Users can click on one or more contacts and send an SMS message to all of them, by either typing the message in or selecting a template. Sent messages are recorded against the contact for future reference.

The solutions requires that the business has an account with a specified txt sending gateway. Details can be provided on request.

Added Security Tier for vTiger

Cheshire Business Technology Ltd. have delivered another vTiger based solution, this time adding an extra tier of security to Potentials and Tickets.

In addition to assigning a potential or ticket to a given user, users can also select the product manager, or scheme manager for the given potential or ticket.

This means that sharing can be set to private in the system so that users cannot see each others potentials. Product managers can then be granted access to selected potentials, without seeing everything assigned to users in sub-groups of the company hierachy.

This can also be used to give selective access to external business partners, such as suppliers or sub-contractors who need to see the potential they are working on but you need to hide the rest.

'Per-User' PDFs for vTiger

This means that vTiger can be applied to situations where user from different business will be using the same system, and still produce documents using their own business name and logo.
